Linen Care guide

1. How to Wash Linen
Machine-wash at 30–40°C using a gentle detergent. Avoid softeners—linen naturally softens with wear. Turn garments inside out and wash with like colors to preserve integrity.

2. Air-Drying Is Ideal
Lay flat or hang your linen to dry in a shaded area. Direct sun fades fabric and can create uneven coloration. A gentle tumble dry on low is acceptable but not preferred.

3. Ironing Tips
To smooth wrinkles, iron linen while it’s damp using medium heat. Iron on the reverse side or use a pressing cloth. A handheld steamer is perfect for daily refreshes.

4. Dry Cleaning for Best Results
Garments like suits or lined dresses benefit from occasional dry cleaning, which keeps their silhouette and texture intact longer.

5. Areas Prone to Stress
Repeated movement causes stress on certain spots: knees, elbows, collars. Looser fits help reduce this. Avoid sitting for long in tightly fitted linen pants.

6. Fading and Natural Dyes
Earth-toned and plant-based dyes in linen tend to fade gently with time. This is not a flaw but part of the beauty of organic textiles. Use eco-safe detergent and avoid spot treatments with bleach.

7. How to Handle Pilling
If pilling occurs, use a fabric comb to gently remove. Prevent it by washing linen separately or with soft materials only.

8. Cleaning Stains Naturally
For wine, coffee, or oil stains, apply white vinegar mixed with warm water, blot softly, then wash. Always avoid rubbing aggressively.
